Description:

Your responsibilities

  • Mentors and leads the EMEA Supplier Quality Management team supporting category management, new product development, sustaining engineering projects and day-to-day activities across multiple sites within the region.
  • Mentors and leads the Supplier Quality Manager (Category) supporting (global) category management, new supplier qualification, supplier evaluation and supplier development.
  • Interacts with the Director of Supplier Quality global category management and the regional Head of Procurement to derive assurance strategies.
  • Signs regional and local Supplier Quality Assurance Agreements (Contracts) on behalf of Olympus.
  • Supports facility audits by outside agencies (i.e., FDA, ISO / MDSAP) point of contact and subject matter expert to demonstrate compliance to regulatory requirements of the Olympus Supplier Quality Assurance system.
  • Budget responsibility for the Supplier Quality Management organization in the region.
  • Stakeholder and collaborator with other management functions relating to project, process, business, and quality decisions.
  • Other Quality Assurance responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Your qualification

Must haves

  • Experience in a global medical device manufacturer or in the automotive, aerospace or pharma industry.
  • Strong concentration in Supplier Quality Management.
  • First technical leadership experience.

Desirable

  • Bachelor of Science in medical, engineering, or scientific discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience leading global change initiatives and integrations for multi-site and multi-product businesses.
  • Proficient understanding of medical device regulations both domestic and international.
  • Willingness to work in a global organization with national and international travel.
