Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Our Central Coast office opened in 2003. Since starting, we have grown to an office with 21 staff members with a strong external reputation for client services and engineering excellence, and a strong internal passion for providing our team members with a fun and fulfilling career.
The team are in search of a Business Support person to support our Structural Civil Sections in either a part time (4 days per week) or full time capacity. This will be someone who has a dynamic and confident personality and who is keen to learn, grow and be a supportive member of our team.
You will be responsible for providing project support and supporting the local Erina office culture. You will work with other Business Support staff across other regions and with local staff members from Job Managers to Senior Management.
You will need to be able to respectfully deal with a diverse range of people both internally and externally. You will be joining a fast paced, busy team and will enjoy operating with an appropriate level of autonomy reporting to the Business Support Manager.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Proactive project lifecycle support: Assistance with fee proposals, project close outs, maintaining admin inbox, set up and maintenance of project records, minute taking.
  • Supporting local office culture: Internal event coordination – staff events, client meetings, managing logistics and catering.
  • Supporting onboarding and offboarding process.
  • Coordinating travel arrangements for staff members as required.
  • Supporting local AR and AP function: Assisting with monthly invoicing, ensuring invoicing is collectable and invoicing records are accurately maintained.
  • Supporting local business development team with marketing strategies, collation and creation of local office content including technical and project write ups.
  • Day to day running of office including reception duties, ensuring office facilities remain clean and tidy, maintaining stock levels of office/kitchen supplies.
