The Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) delivers a comprehensive suite of banking, capital markets and advisory solutions, including a full complement of sales, trading and research capabilities, to corporate, government and institutional clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in middle office and settlements, as well as a keen interest in the securities lending market. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to our growing business.

  • Participate in Trader daily activities, supporting client accounts, and identify opportunity for researching and correcting trade, risk and compliance issues within Wells Fargo Securities
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, traders, risk, compliance, and manager, including internal and external customers
  • Assist senior traders in executing and managing securities lending transactions.
  • Work closely with middle office and settlements teams to ensure timely and accurate trade settlements.
  • Assist in evaluating market opportunities and identifying potential borrowers and lenders.
  • Analyze and interpret market data to support trading decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to comply with 17 CRF 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.

Job Expectations:

  • Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 180 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Registration for FINRA Series 7 must be completed within 180 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.

Pay Range:

  • Base pay range for this position in New York is 135,000.00 - 135,000.00 USD
  • May be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights or other long-term incentive awards
