SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Responsibilities:

As the Site Security Officer (SO) you will work in consultation with local site management and in liaison with the Security Manager and provide SO representation at the respective Office location and region.
The Security Officer will perform the role and duties of an assigned SO ensuring security measures for the protection of LM Sensitive Information and government and defence classified assets, information and data.

Duties

  • Liaise with and work closely with Information Systems Security staff on facility changes
  • Applying Security facility access measures across the Classified Facilities
  • Ensuring all local security policies and procedures are being adhered to across all facilities
  • Ensure access and identification procedures are executed to ensure all staff are provided with, and maintain valid Security passes and facility access arrangements including the issue and control of site access ID’s and Passes.
  • Managing and controlling classified holdings in site security containers both the A and B class containers.
  • Provide support to Programs that have specific Security requirements.
  • Manage Personnel Clearance requirements.
  • Ensure security systems and container maintenance requirements are managed and provide administrative management to applied security alarm and access systems.
  • Assisting corporate security and the regional security representatives with the development and update of Crisis Management planning and execution for the Canberra office
