QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in IT, Engineering or other related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience
• Experience in networking or app development would be beneficial and cybersecurity monitoring or incident response would be beneficial
• Candidates who have prior hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc would be advantageous

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Security Analyst is a member of the Cybersecurity Operations Team which is responsible for security monitoring of both on-premise and online infrastructures, filtering out suspicious activity, and finding and mitigating security risks before any breaches can occur.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information, identify and define system security requirements
• Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols, configure, administer and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices
• Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
• Identify, analyze and manage threats to the organization’s security, develop new or improved existing playbook
• Monitor logs and other source of information (Users, application, network, systems, access to physical assets, etc) and deep-dive and correlation of logs
• Participate in internal and external cybersecurity exercises, as required and manage security incidents (Detection, Response and Recovery)
