Job Expectations
An exciting opportunity has presented itself at nbn as a Security Analyst reporting to the Senior Manager, Security Controls Assurance.
A bit about your role
The Security Analyst is responsible for providing assurance and guidance on security controls, ensuring continuous improvement, supporting the uplift in security control maturity and reporting on security control compliance. The goal of this role is to validate the effectiveness and maturity of cyber security controls across nbn and more specifically in Systems, Engineering and Operations area.
The role will also connect the outputs of the testing to existing security risk and threat assessments, in order to provide visibility and accuracy of the current residual risk and controls posture of the business.
A bit about you
The successful candidate will bring experience in a Technology, Security or research and analysis type role. You have strong reporting, investigative, analytical and research skills so that can uplift security controls assurance.
You have exceptional customer service skills as you will be liaising with various key stakeholders and the demonstrated ability to translate technical language into simple terms.
You are a self-starter, highly analytical and a demonstratable passion for Security. Any experience with security tools, e.g. penetration testing, breach and attack simulation, vulnerability scanners, would be advantageous.
