Responsibilities:

WHAT MAKES YOU GREAT FOR THIS ROLE?

You have strong research, investigative and problem-solving skills to provide operational and technical support in IT security related incidents and the measurement of IT security analytics.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Provide first level security support including detection of issues, incident response, remediation and prevention occurrence measures
  • Examine and investigate alerts, resolve configuration errors in the network or deployed software and create/update IT security documents
  • Escalate significant IT security issues and comply with incident response process including taking systems/devices offline to safeguard MPAC assets as directed
  • Assist external agencies in security testing ensuring reports are accurate and complete
  • Monitor and report on all IT security platforms, dashboards and systems and maintain application and system log, providing data analytics to senior team members and manager
  • Support business systems while adhering to security standards and practices in place as well as research new forms of best practices and provide analysis
  • Aid in the development and maintenance of KPI dashboards and security metric reports and conduct security vulnerability scans
  • Utilize scripting languages to design and implement automated repetitive security tasks.
