Description:

  • Auckland based role
  • Proactive, ‘prevention-first’ enterprise-wide function
  • Auckland and Northland region
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
NZ Post is seeking the skills and capabilities of an experienced Integrity Business Partner to join the team, based in our Highbrook Operations Centre. While there will always be an element of responding to and investigating security and integrity-related issues that arise, this Business Partner focused position works alongside our operational leaders to reveal the ‘root causes’, providing practical prevention and early detection-focused advice.
Reporting to our Head of Security, this role has a critical purpose, ensuring leaders across the business are aware of their risks, and will support them in the achievement of improved security and integrity related outcomes. This role has a “prevention first” mindset ensuring we deploy appropriate preventative and detective measures to eliminate or reduce the opportunity for integrity-related events to occur.
The Security team provides our business with a balanced Prevention, Detection and Response capability that is aligned to NZ Post’s overall strategy. You will be working as part of a geographically spread team of integrity specialists that support each other to drive national integrity-related initiatives. The work is managed within a portfolio model and this role will partner with our Auckland and Northland regions. Therefore some travel will be required.
    Mōu - About you
We are committed to providing an early intervention, ‘prevention first’ operating model that is enabled by data and technology. Therefore, it is critical that the successful candidate for this role has a Business Partner background and can demonstrate career history operating within a prevention focused integrity or security function, rather than a purely investigative and reactive environment.

You’ll be able to clearly articulate the following skills and attributes:

  • Excellent relationship management and influencing skills
  • A relevant tertiary qualification and/or significant work experience in related areas
  • Holder of, or expected to be approved for, a National Security Clearance
  • Proven business partnering experience and collaborative working style
  • Proven experience responding to integrity and security incidents within large and complex operations environments
  • Proven commercial acumen
  • Experience working with external suppliers
