We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer (m/f/d) with a focus on daily administration and management of firewall systems (on-premise, private cloud, and in public cloud) group-wide, along with other possible security-related projects and tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Security Administration:
- Become proficient in utilizing tools for managing our on-prem firewall infrastructure (e.g., Checkpoint and Fortigate management).
- Become proficient in utilizing tools for managing our cloud firewall infrastructure (e.g., Google Security Command Center, Google firewall).
- React to alerts and security findings.
- Adjust the rule set to fit the use-cases.
- Maintain and support static code analysis together with DevOps engineers
- Security Guidelines:
- Verify/Improve our security guidelines for software development and cloud usage as well as on-premises environments.
- Conduct security training sessions for relevant colleagues, external users, and developers.
- Support legal department for security related topics including privacy considerations/GDPR.
- Audits:
- Conduct regular internal audits and document the results.
- Provide feedback, suggestions, and mandatory improvements.
- Conduct pentests to detect vulnerabilities.
