    In this context, you’ll be joining as Security Engineer and reporting to the Indonesia Tribe Lead for Infrastructure. This role will be responsible for designing, building, implementing, and maintaining the security systems and infrastructure that protect an organization’s networks, systems, and data.

The Security Engineer will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Develop and implement security architectures, protocols, and procedures to safeguard digital assets.
  • Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in the organization’s security posture.
  • Respond to security incidents promptly, investigate their root cause, and implement measures to prevent future occurrences.
  • Monitor networks and systems for suspicious activity and potential security breaches.
  • Educate employees about cybersecurity best practices and the importance of maintaining a secure environment.
  • Ensure that the organization’s security measures comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and decision-making effectively.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our project management processes and methodologies.
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity,
  • 5 years of proven experience in cybersecurity roles such as information security engineer, network security analyst, or security systems engineer
  • Google Cloud Professional Certifications (e.g., Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is crucial. This can include configuring security settings, managing identities and access, and implementing security controls in the cloud.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, which integrate security into the software development lifecycle, can be beneficial.
  • Certifications offered by cloud providers like AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer demonstrate expertise in specific cloud platforms.
  • Certifications like Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or Certified Cloud Security Engineer (CCSE) validate broader cloud security knowledge.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash), understanding of networking protocols, and knowledge of security tools and technologies are essential.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills are important for collaborating with teams and addressing security incidents effectively.
