Description:

Help AG is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Security Engineer- NGFW, AWAF and OPSWAT to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have proven expertise in managing various cybersecurity technologies mentioned below:

  • Proven operational experience in firewall management using Palo Alto and Fortinet technologies.
  • Hands-on experience in load balancer operations, particularly with F5 technologies.
  • Operational knowledge of Server Advanced Threat Detection and Prevention OPSWAT – Meta defender
  • Operational knowledge of host based security solutions, including TrendMicro- Deep Security
  • Familiarity with operational aspects of cybersecurity best practices and industry standards.
  • Relevant certifications such as PCNSE, NSE4 , F5 certifications are a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven operational experience in firewall management using Palo Alto and Fortinet technologies.
  • Hands-on experience in load balancer operations, particularly with F5 technologies.
  • Should have expert and in-depth knowledge of Complex IP Networks
  • Operational knowledge of server security solutions, including TrendMicro and OPSWAT.
  • Familiarity with operational aspects of cybersecurity best practices and industry standards.
  • Relevant certifications such as PCNSE, NSE4 , F5 Certifications are a plus.
  • Proficient in day-to-day operational tasks related to network security and infrastructure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with operational teams.
  • Ability to prioritize operational tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for managed security control clients, offering expert guidance and support for in scope technologies.
  • Implement and manage day-to-day firewall operations with a specialization in Palo Alto and Fortinet technologies.
  • Monitor and analyse firewall logs, ensuring the timely detection and resolution of security incidents.
  • Execute operational tasks related to global load balancers and local load balancers for efficient traffic distribution.
  • Conduct regular audits of Web Application Firewalls (WAF), ensuring configurations align with operational needs.
  • Administer and maintain day-to-day operations of server security solutions, including TrendMicro and OPSWAT.
  • Respond to antivirus alerts, conduct threat analyses, and coordinate remediation efforts as part of ongoing operations.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, conducting investigations, and implementing corrective actions in collaboration with the incident response team.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to validate the security controls and compliance of managed clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and managed clients to integrate security measures seamlessly into their environments.
  • Provide hands-on support for troubleshooting, configuration adjustments, and optimization of security tools.
  • Stay informed about emerging cybersecurity threats and industry best practices to proactively address potential risks.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to security configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of new security technologies and tools to enhance our managed services.
