A contract role with extension possibilities for a skilled Security Engineer for a 3-month contract initially.

YOUR NEW ROLE

They are seeking a proficient Security Engineer to join their team and contribute to ongoing security operations. The perfect candidate will have expertise in firewall management, configuration, and the implementation of network security measures. Additionally, a solid background in security operations is advantageous. Main duties include;

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess security needs and address requests.
• Perform daily maintenance and firewall configuration.
• Implement and manage security controls to safeguard internal resources against cyber threats.
• Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation.
• Monitor security logs and alerts for timely incident response.
• Provide security guidance and support to other IT teams.
• Document security configurations, processes, and procedures for easy reference by relevant stakeholders.
