Ensure that DHL is the benchmark for security excellence in the air express industry. Initiate, co-ordinate and implement investigations into losses and other security incidents relating to DHL assets, personnel and shipments carried by DHL.
SECURITY CASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM - SCMS (FORMERLY KNOWN AS SECURITY INCIDENT DATABASE) – INFORMATION MANAGEMENT
- Input, investigate and participate in the reporting of security incidents into the database.
- Assist in preparing and analyse the database information for the production of regular reports on shipment and other security incidents.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 5 ‘O’ level with credit in English, or college diploma / “A” Level (preferred).
- Preferable Ex-Police or Arm Forces personnel, 5 years’ experience as Senior Staff Sergeant and above.
- Preferable with minimum 3 years of Investigation Background (i.e. Investigating Officer, etc)

Responsibilities:
- To assist in developing, implementing and monitor policies, procedures and security practices to safeguard DHL employees, customers’ shipments, DHL assets and information against loss, damage or incident.
- To assist to co-ordinate country security activities and ensure compliance of DHL staff and sub-contractors with security procedures as specified in the Regional Security Policy and Procedures Manual.
- To assist in conducting security audits (and assist other audit teams e.g. ISO), both proactively and reactively to assess the effectiveness of security practices and procedures at country sites.
- To work towards TAPA FSR “A”, Regulated Cargo Agent Regime (RCAR) and Secure Trade Partnership-Plus (STP-Plus) certification and re-certification for all Service Centers within the country.
- To assist in co-ordinating the implementation of stipulated and other relevant Security training programmes for country personnel and in particular DHL specific training programmes such as Certified International Specialist (CIS) and/or Regulated Cargo Agent Regime (RCAR) Security Awareness packages.
- To conduct Security related investigations and other enquiries as required by Security Manager and National Operations Manager.
- To update Security Case Management System - SCMS (a system that records all Security Incidents Investigation) promptly within the stipulated escalation timeframe.
