Responsibilities:

Vandalism Investigation: Lead the investigation into recent vandalism incidents at tower sites, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to gather evidence, analyze patterns, and determine the modus operandi of the vandals. Conduct on-site visits to affected tower sites to assess the extent of damage, collect forensic evidence, and document findings.
Threat Assessment: Assess potential threats and vulnerabilities to tower sites, both physical and cyber, that could be exploited by vandals. Identify weak points in security protocols and practices.
Forensic Analysis: Utilize advanced forensic techniques and technologies to analyze collected evidence and data, including surveillance footage, to aid in identifying culprits and building strong legal cases.
Collaboration: Collaborate with law enforcement agencies, private investigators, and legal teams to support criminal investigations, evidence collection, and the pursuit of legal actions against vandals.Collaborate with Customer Security Team and other Ericsson counterparts to collect all relevant information, lead the meetings and bring cases to closure along with customer concurrence. Educate/collaborate with different Ericsson teams e.g. NOC, Field Operations, Projects on pro-activeness on such cases and precautionary measures that can be taken to prevent vandalism/security breach cases
Security Protocol Enhancement: Develop and implement comprehensive security protocols and procedures for tower sites, taking into consideration physical security measures, access control, monitoring systems, and incident response plans. Consider additional protective measures for equipment, such as tamper-resistant enclosures or alarms that trigger when tampering is detected.
Security Awareness: Conduct training sessions and workshops for relevant staff to enhance their awareness of security threats, vandalism prevention, and response procedures.Engage with the local community and landowners around the transmitter sites. Building good relationships with the local community can lead to increased vigilance and support in preventing vandalism.Raise public awareness about the importance of the transmitter sites and the negative consequences of vandalism on network availability. This may discourage potential vandals
Technology Integration: Evaluate and recommend the deployment of advanced security technologies such as CCTV cameras, motion sensors, and alarm systems to enhance real-time monitoring and deter vandalism attempts
Reporting: Provide regular and detailed reports to senior management, summarizing investigation progress, findings, recommendations, and the effectiveness of implemented security measures.
Continuous Monitoring: Continuously monitor the security situation at the transmitter sites and adjust security measures as needed to adapt to changing threats
