The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

ABOUT THE TEAM:

SPX is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Security Team to oversee our CCTV operations and conduct security investigations at our warehouse facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring surveillance footage, identifying and investigating security breaches or irregular activities, and ensuring the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• CCTV Monitoring: Continuously monitor CCTV feeds to detect unusual or suspicious activities within the warehouse premises. Ensure all cameras and surveillance equipment are operational and cover the necessary areas effectively.
• Incident Response: Respond to alarms and security incidents by reviewing and analyzing CCTV footage to gather facts and understand the events. Guide on-ground security teams in real-time during incidents.
• Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into security breaches, thefts, lost parcels or any other incidents. Collaborate with warehouse management, contract agencies/drivers, law enforcement, and other relevant stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on incidents and surveillance operations, highlighting potential security risks and suggesting improvements. Maintain logs of surveillance activities and outcomes of investigations.
• Maintenance Coordination: Work closely with the technical team to ensure that all surveillance equipment is maintained in excellent working condition. Schedule repairs and upgrades as needed to avoid any lapses in surveillance coverage.
• Compliance and Ethics: Ensure all surveillance practices adhere to legal standards and company policies concerning privacy and data protection.
• Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on the latest security technologies and procedures. Train new staff on CCTV operation and security protocols as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in criminal justice or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in a security role with direct responsibility for operating CCTV systems and conducting security investigations.
• Strong understanding of modern surveillance technology and software.
• Excellent observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain focused for extended periods.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with law enforcement, staff, and management.
• Ability to make quick decisions and respond appropriately in high-pressure situations.
