Description:

As Softchoice becomes a leader in Security capabilities, we need an individual who will become the voice of Security for our customers. This includes creating a structure for how we build solutions and bring them to market, as well as leading the delivery of Security workshops for our customers. As the Security Lead, you will play a pivotal role in developing our Security Center of Excellence. Your work will directly influence customer satisfaction and contribute to our financial growth. By leading the delivery of funded Security Workshops, you will be instrumental in enhancing our customers’ understanding of security measures, thereby fostering trust and loyalty.

This role will directly contribute to the growth and success of our organization by:

  • Function as a thought and strategic leader, innovating the Softchoice Security and GTM strategies
  • Work with multiple security business to ensure proper representation and security vision
  • Enhancing customer trust in Softchoice’s products and services, which will lead to increased customer acquisition, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Generating revenue for Softchoice through the delivery of Build Intent Workshops and the follow-on Security Services opportunities these workshops will uncover.
  • Driving innovation within the organization by unlocking the potential in people and technology.
  • Responsible for growing the Softchoice Security Workplace practice overall and showing this by helping with strategic activities for introducing and improving new services, as well as training and delivery enablement campaigns.

This is the role for a visionary that thrives with a high degree of ownership and brings demonstrated experience in leading the way with new technologies.

  • 5+ years of experience in a security consulting role or similar, with a proven track record of driving the understanding and adoption of technology solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience in facilitating workshops and delivering presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in customer engagement, with a focus on understanding customer needs and guiding them in leveraging technology to its full potential.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear, concise, and relatable manner.
  • Demonstrated facilitation skills, with the ability to design and implement engaging workshops tailored to the needs of the audience.
  • Strong understanding of technology, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • A genuine passion for technology and its potential to drive change and innovation.
  • A strong desire to learn new things and continuously improve.
  • A customer-centric mindset, with a focus on understanding and meeting customer needs.
