SECURITY OFFICER - $16/hr

Position Description:

SECURITY OFFICER - $16/hr - EXTRA $500 BONUS IF ALREADY HAVE LA GAMING LICENSE

• Observe and patrol guest, and team member areas on a continuous basis.
• Ensure safe and secure transportation of monetary assets between points on property.
• Be alert to any fire, safety hazards, and suspicious packages throughout the property.
• Be alert to undesirable patrons / suspicious activities throughout the property.
• Report any unusual occurrences to a supervisor immediately.
• Respond to any calls for assistance from dispatch or other department personnel.
• Prepare any statements required factually and to completion.
• Always maintain confidentiality and integrity when dealing with company information.
• Assist in the safe control or escort of un-desirable guest as needed.
• Assist guests as needed with directions and questions.
• Escort team members and guests to and from parking areas as needed to ensure safety.
• Assist in any investigation as directed by the Director of Security / Security Manager.
• Report any maintenance problems to a supervisor.
• Communicate any pending post activity to oncoming officer.

Position Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Louisiana ID, DL, or the ability to obtain Driver’s License within 90 days of hire.
• Possess or meets standards to obtain a Valid Gaming License at the time of processing.
• Must have or obtain a Valid Responsible Vendor Permit within 15 days of hire.
• Ability to complete required company training.
• Read, write, and speak the English language.
• Ability to complete written statements of events when requested.
• Ability to work in a loud, smoking, and fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shift postings.
• Ability to physically respond in a safe and expedient manner to assigned posts or incidents.
