Responsibilities:

At OCS Group, we are recruiting for Security Officer who will be responsible for protecting the security and safety of the identified buildings and personnel at a busy client site and will ensure that assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner and meet relevant legislations.
You will be working any 5 over 7 days, 07:00 to 23:00, on a permanent full-time basis; 40 hours per week.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly patrolling your allocated area of the centre
  • Providing a visible security presence
  • Assisting/liaising with retailers, Emergency services and local authority.
  • Offering excellent customer service and opening and securing the centre
  • Carrying out basic first aid duties
  • Reacting to any security incidents in a prompt and professional manner
  • Clearly communicating with colleagues and the control room
  • Deterring crime and disorder and follow health and safety procedures.
  • Take part in any relevant training.
  • Accurately complete incident reports

To succeed in this role you will need the following:

  • Security experience and valid frontline SIA license
  • A five-year checkable work history
  • Ability to use a radio and communicate clearly and accurately.
