Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Operations Analyst (L2) to join their dynamic Cyber Security Operations team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, responding to complex security threats on commercial networks across the globe. The successful candidate will be part of a 24x7 Security Operation Center (SOC) environment, monitoring, analysing and defending against malicious or unusual activity indicative of a security incident or compromise. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative, inclusive and supportive environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Join our clients team as a Level 2 Security Operations Analyst and become a key player in our client’s Cyber Security Operations team. Your core duty will involve promptly addressing intricate security threats on worldwide commercial networks. Collaborating closely with various departments, particularly incident response teams, you’ll ensure swift resolution of security concerns. Your routine tasks will encompass CySOC resource management, incident investigation, proactive threat hunting utilizing threat intelligence, customer engagement on cyber security matters, adherence to security compliance standards, and devising strategies for enhancing security process integrity.

  • Investigate and assess Level 2 & 3 incidents, escalating as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to pertinent security standards, including Policies and ISO27001.
  • Interact with customers and stakeholders regarding cyber security concerns, offering recommendations for the future.
  • Proactively conduct Threat Hunting utilizing Threat Intelligence.
