REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in SecOps or DevSecOps roles, in cloud environments (AWS, Google Workspace, Chronicle, Crowdstrike, …)
  • IAM: Proven success in managing IAM systems, ensuring secure access control across all platforms.
  • Incident Response: Experience in incident response and remediation, with a proven track record of effectively responding to and remediating security incidents.
  • Security Tools Management: Proficiency in managing security tools for including MDM, DLP and XDR solutions,
  • Threat Analysis: Familiarity with threat analysis. This includes understanding of threat actors, tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Startup Environment: Self-motivated and comfortable working in a VC-backed startup environment, with the ability to adapt to rapid changes and wear multiple hats as needed.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail that enables effective identification and resolution of security issues.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey security concepts and requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Two or more years of experience in an operational or similar role

Responsibilities:

  • Security Monitoring and Incident Response:
  • • Monitor computer networks for security issues.
  • Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
  • Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause.
  • System Protection and Maintenance:
  • • Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure.
  • Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities.
  • Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
  • Operationalizing Information Security Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines:
  • • Policy Implementation: Implement and enforce information security policies throughout the organization.
  • Suggest improvements to existing policies
  • IT management:
  • • Operating Systems Management: Deep understanding of various operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), including their installation, configuration, upgrade, and troubleshooting processes.
  • Network Administration: Proficiency in network protocols, IP addressing, network analysis, and troubleshooting. Ability to set up firewalls and other network security measures.
  • Server Management: Experience in the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of servers, including web servers, mail servers, and database servers.
  • Hardware and Software Management: Ability to install, configure, update, and troubleshoot both hardware and software components of a system.
  • Collaboration and Innovation:
  • • Collaborate with colleagues on authentication, authorization, and encryption solutions.
  • Evaluate new technologies and processes that enhance security capabilities.
  • Reporting:
  • • Deliver reports to management.
