• Job Title: Security Professional
• Salary: $35-$50/hour
• Shifts: 12 hours
• Schedule: 7on-7off, day/night rotation
• Accommodations: Hotel and $90 per diem provided

Overview:
Allied Universal is seeking experienced former military or Law Enforcement professionals for a short-term project in Edmonton. This role is crucial for ensuring the security and safety of the site and involves working in a 7 on - 7 off, day/night rotation with 12-hour shifts. Responsibilities:

• Ensure the security and safety of the site.
• Monitor and control access points.
• Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a secure environment.

Requirements:

• Former military / police / peace officer / correctional officer
• Must be able to commute to Edmonton Metropolitan area and neighboring town
• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
• Valid Alberta Security License
• Legally entitled to work in Canada for 40 hours in a week.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Ability to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat.
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 20 kilograms.
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift.
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.
