Description:

Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking to add a team of Security Engineers to perform reverse engineering and vulnerability research of different technologies. The successful candidates will create proof-of-concepts to demonstrate cyber effects of identified vulnerabilities. They will develop software tools to facilitate the process. They will also conduct device modeling and emulation throughout their security research. Day to day responsibilities may include:

  • Leveraging static and dynamic reverse engineering techniques to identify potential security vulnerabilities in commercial and proprietary applications from a red team optic.
  • Providing concise written reports detailing findings.
  • Providing briefings to senior level personnel, with both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
  • Providing technical expertise to the team and perform advisory functions for management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in reverse engineering
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience with Software Development/Engineering
  • 5 years of experience with Vulnerability Research
  • Programming Languages: C, Python, Java
  • Architectures: x86, x64, ARM, MIPS
  • Reverse Engineering tools: Ghidra, IDA Pro, Binary Ninja -Familiarity with embedded systems (e.g., routers, Android mobile devices, etc.)
  • Familiarity with embedded system hardware, firmware, and software -Familiarity with Linux operating system (e.g., userland, kernel, etc.)
  • Comfortable reading and writing technical documentation and specifications
  • B.A. or B.S. in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
  • US Citizenship and at minimum active Secret security clearance required

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven ability to gain a continuous authority to operate
  • Experience with digital forensics, loss prevention, and eDiscovery are a plus
  • The following certifications are desired: Security+, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC
  • Ability to guide customers to obtain a certificate to field
    This role will be located in either Herndon, VA or Melbourne, FL with remote flexibility.
    The estimated salary range for this position $140,000.00 - $180,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skill set.
