Description:
Securitas Security Services Ireland are currently recruiting a Security Supervisor, for our client based in Pottery Road, Dun Laoghaire.
Rate of pay for this position is EUR18.74 per hour plus additional Sunday premium of EUR3.44 per hour and unsocial allowance payment of EUR16.80 per night shift. The position is fully flexible roster pattern and would require that day, night and weekends when required.
Responsibilities:
Drive the development of an excellent security culture, leading by example, setting standards (dress, deportment etc.), whilst displaying passion and enthusiasm for the role.
Issue site security management with operational reports as requested or on a routine basis.
Track and provide a daily and weekly shift updates to SOM including significant operational events and requirements, team meetings, communications, logistics, officer interviews conducted, and training completed.
Lead and support the security team during all operations, incident escalation and response.
Ensure all security posts are manned in line with the client standards guarding model.
Be prepared to provide support and relief to posts where required.
The Security Supervisor will have primary responsibility for ensuring that vendor Post Orders (POs) are carried out to the highest standard, ensuring that the requirements as outlined in the Client’s POs are adhered to.
Ensure that all incidents, emergencies, and site issues (welfare, logistics, comms, EH&S etc.) are reported, escalated and managed in compliance with client’s global standards.
Ensure collaboration occurs with the site Security Coordinator (SC), providing up to date initiatives that are premised on a training needs analysis.
Oversee a functioning documented shift handover process verbally and via email for operational effectiveness. Utilise a shared documentation management system.
Oversee a functioning, documented post-handover at the Guardhouse, ensure that any operational observations that are identified are actioned and followed up on in a timely manner.
Uniformed security personnel as per client standards.
Duties will include client service and problem resolution, service enhancement, systems monitoring, preparation of post orders, staffing, scheduling, supervision, and training.
Additional duties may be assigned, and functions may be modified, according to business necessity.

Recommend disciplinary action of assigned security personnel.
Reviews reports written on his/her shift
Identifies security shortfalls via the organizational chain and offers suggestions for improving the security program
Maintains the documentation and follows standardized procedures to successfully complete unannounced audits
