- Degree level education, preferably in a security related discipline. Expertise in wider security issues and their context.
- 3-5 years’ relevant experience of security threat analysis in government, military, security/intelligence, relevant industrial sectors, think tanks or other similar settings.
- Previous experience of gathering information from disparate sources, and of analysing and conveying findings in written and oral form to commercially focussed audiences.
- Excellent written and presentation skills to translate threats and developments into company context.
- Extensive understanding of non-technical and technical security threats.
- Proven ability to use digital solutions and create valuable new analytical products.
- Fluency in Norwegian and English, written and oral, is essential.
- The ability to obtain Norwegian HEMMELIG security clearance is essential, an existing security clearance is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, identify assess and communicate security threats to the company’s people, assets and operations with a focus on Norway and NW Europe.
- Work within a small, dynamic team to cover other geographical areas/thematic topics.
- Produce country threat assessments and regular updates on threats relevant to the company.
- Produce thematic assessments of significant changes to types of threat relevant across the company’s business.
- Provide input and support on developments in threat picture to Business Areas, Corporate Security and Safety and Sustainability functions.
- Contribute to reporting on threat developments to senior management and the company’s governing bodies.
- Take on other tasks with the wider security team to support mitigation
