- Would you enjoy providing vital administrative support to our Employment Partnerships Professionals Team?
- Would you like to improve your customer service skills whilst helping those affected by sight loss? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team.
You will be supporting the Employment Advisors with receiving referrals from our External Partnerships, monitoring shared mailbox referrals and making initial welcome calls to customers booking them in for an assessment/action planning with their allocated Employment Advisor. You will also provide other administrative duties supporting the Employment Manager.
The RNIB is the leading UK’s sight loss charity helping blind and partially sighted people thrive.
RNIB’s Employment Partnerships Professionals team supports prime contractors who deliver DWP funded provision, like the Working Health Programme across the UK. In conjunction, we support participants with sight loss to find and sustain employment, supporting them through every stage of their pre-employment journey and providing in-work support to the participant and their employer once they have found work.
This role could be your first job or your next move to getting back into work after a break. You will have sound IT skills including experience with MS Office – Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as good attention to detail and solid communication and organisational skills.
The role is part of RNIB’s See Work Differently employment initiative for unemployed blind and partially sighted people to secure that first rung on the career ladder or who are returning to work following a career break.
