Would you enjoy working in a busy customer services environment? Would you like to improve your telephone and communication skills whilst helping those affected by sight loss? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Tax Advice Service.
The RNIB is the leading UK’s sight loss charity helping blind and partially sighted people thrive.
RNIB’s Tax Advice Service provides telephone information and advice to those affected by sight loss on tax and benefit related issues.
You would be involved in in the practical aspects of supporting our tax service, providing information to customers and updating records on the CRM system. You will gain invaluable skills to provide a high-quality telephone and digital service to those affected by sight loss.
The role is part of RNIB’s See Work Differently employment initiative for unemployed blind and partially sighted people to secure that first rung on the career ladder or who are returning to work following a career break. You will have sound IT skills including experience with MS Office – Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as good attention to detail and solid communication and organisational skills.
