Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The SEIT Lead works within the Systems Engineering Integrated Team (SEIT) on the AIR6500 program. This role is responsible for the SEIT General team and includes the scope of activities in Systems Engineering, Systems Architecture, Software Architecture, Hardware Architecture, Configuration Management and Operational Analysis.
In this role, you will primarily:
- Lead the SEIT General Team through development of the system functional, non-functional, and interface requirements from Air Battle Management concepts, risk reduction exercises and Commonwealth needs
- Lead the SEIT General Team through development of the System of Systems architecture
- Be the owner of Systems Engineering Process, Plans, and Tools for the AIR6500 program
- Manage and co-ordinate systems engineering activities with adjacent Engineering disciplines, SME’s and IPT’s including System Design, Product Designs, Verification & Validation, Support System, and Specialty Engineering
- Lead and drive Major System Reviews and internal reviews relevant to AIR6500
- Shaping and reporting metrics for SEIT General Team
