Description:

FIELD ENGINEER - SEMICONDUCTOR INDUSTRY

Our client is a leading provider of digital imaging solutions in the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean. They are currently seeking a Field Engineer for their semiconductor equipment customers in Arizona, specifically in the Phoenix, Chandler, and Tempe region. This position requires daily reporting to the assigned worksite and close proximity to the area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of related work experience in electromechanical fields, preferably in a semiconductor equipment company or engineering. Lithography experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and compressed work weeks.
  • Driving for company business is an essential function of the job, requiring compliance with safety guidelines and policies.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds individually, with assistance for weights over 30 pounds.
  • Substantial amount of standing, walking, typing, grasping, talking, and hearing, as well as occasional kneeling, crouching, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs or a ladder.
  • Ability to work in time-sensitive situations with quick resolution.
    This is a full-time position with benefits, offering an hourly rate of $27.88 - $41.75 based on a 35-hour work week, with overtime available

Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, calibrate, and maintain semiconductor process equipment, minimizing downtime. Escalate advanced repairs to senior technicians when necessary.
  • Monitor, inspect, and maintain semiconductor equipment to prevent malfunctions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and provide periodic reports.
  • Monitor stock levels of service parts and equipment to ensure sufficient inventory for repairs.
  • Provide training and assistance to technicians and offer basic instruction to customers.
  • Participate in ongoing technical training to enhance expertise.
