JOB DESCRIPTION

Type: Part-Time (Three days a week)
Are you an experienced SENCO with a passion for supporting the diverse needs of primary school students? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join a school in Wellingborough, NN8, as a part-time SENCO.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee the provision of special educational needs support across the school.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to identify and address the needs of students with SEN.
Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies for SEN students.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEN provision, making adjustments as necessary.
Provide guidance and support to colleagues on best practices for inclusive teaching and learning.
Requirements:
Qualified teacher status (QTS) and relevant SENCO qualification.
Proven experience as a SENCO within a primary school setting.
In-depth knowledge of SEN legislation, policies, and best practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies.
Dedication to promoting inclusive and supporting the diverse needs of all students.
