Description:

A two-form entry Primary School situated in Newcastle Upon Tyne are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work full-time.

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for the role of SEND Teaching Assistant (Full-time, temporary) you will:

  • Experience of supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEND).
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Preferably a Level 2 or above in Supporting Teaching and Learning.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a 1:1 role, supporting a Year 3 child, working at a reception level and therefore prior experience of supporting pupils with additional needs would be preferred.
