JOB DESCRIPTION

Step Teachers are working with a “Good” Ofsted-rated Primary School in Edgware to find an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team in April 2024, ready to support a child in their Year 1 class who requires some additional support in the classroom. This SEND Teaching Assistant should be ready to engage with the school’s atmosphere that promotes communication, development and learning in a diverse range of students.

SEND TEACHING ASSISTANT - REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience working as an SEND Teaching Assistant in a Primary School.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
