Responsibilities:

Based in our North Sydney office, Senior Account Managers are responsible for maximising revenue to achieve agreed revenue targets/sales quotas and ensure complete customer satisfaction when dealing with QMS. This Senior Account Manager will be working with tier one agencies and act as the main interface between the agencies and the organisation to ensure an optimal level of service is always provided. The role will be working on winning new business as well as developing existing customer relationships and will see you out and about visiting clients on a regular basis. Specifically, you are responsible for:

  • Helping to manage and achieve State Sales Revenue vs Budget
  • Managing workload and process of Account Executives/Account Managers in the NSW Agency team
  • Driving the business and brand across the relevant agency portfolio
  • Seeking to increase QMS Media share of media revenue across the product suite
  • Reporting weekly performance of revenue and business-related matters to Group Business Director

What you will be able to do:

  • Formulating, implementing, and managing strategic business plans regarding client base accounts to achieve Sales revenue/Sales quota targets.
  • Working closely with agencies to determine their client’s present and future needs and proposing suitable products, services and upgrades
  • Conducting product demonstrations (where applicable) and coordinating the preparation of Sales proposals, tenders/bids, contracts and Account Management plans.
  • Working with the sales team to deliver on the budget and strategy
  • Ownership of major buying group plus assisting AM and AE. Ability to build and present Qtrly business plans for agency, achieve budget and growth requirements for patch
  • Management of contacts/briefs/budgets from respective patch
  • Mentoring/coaching of team with assistance on daily tasks along with ensuring fulfilment of PDPs

What are we looking for?

  • Ideally you will possess the following skills and attributes:
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Media, Communications or similar or equivalent work experience is highly desirable;
  • Proven sales ability including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability and excellent communication skills;
  • A minimum of 4 - 5 years sales experience within a media environment.
  • Specialist OOH product and industry knowledge is desirable
