ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:

We are now looking for an Account Manager to secure short and long-term profitable business for Ericsson through proactive business development based on fundamental understanding of the customers’ business, operations, and objectives. Actively manage and mobilize internal resources to deliver efficient and effective end to end solutions allowing seamless transition from sales to operations. Develop both internal and external relation/s in order to actively contribute to making customers and Ericsson successful. This job role could be focused on selling a specific part of the portfolio, a specific part of the customer’s business/technology area and/or geography.

THE SKILLS YOU BRING:

  • Education: Bachelor of Telecommunication/ Computer Science/ Business Administration, Engineering, Master of Science or relevant degree
  • 5 – 7 years’ experience of relationship sales and 5 years from the ICT industry out of which 2-3 years of working experience in B2B technical sales or a background in radio or core network technologies would help you get up to speed.
  • Knowledgeable telco background with consultative selling skills and commercial understanding
  • B2B sales (telecommunication or enterprise)
  • Customer negotiation, market insight, leadership, innovative, critical thinking skills
  • Have excellent written and verbal both in English and Malay.
  • Run customer & market insight as well as lead P&L report
  • Teamwork & leadership experience, innovative and creative
  • Social ability and interpersonal skills
  • Accountable and committed with a passion to win

Responsibilities:

  • Your responsibility will be to maximize customer relationships and loyalty.
  • You are expected to build sales opportunities that will generate profitability sales.
  • The role also includes optimization of the account team’s performance and to enable a seamless transition to operations
  • Lead and handle the end to end Sales Process for your lead opportunities
  • Be one of the main drivers for creating Long Term Account Strategy
  • You will be responsible for Overall Profit and Loss of the business area you are representing within the account
