Description:
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 5 years relevant Insurance experience required
- Experience of Marine Business in Latin American region preferred.
- Language skills relevant to Latin American region would be an advantage in the role.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the London Insurance Market and International Insurance Markets.
- Preparing market submissions and placing documentation including MRCs and endorsements and assist with wordings.
- Ensure all placing, contract and closing documentation satisfies the client requirements and complies with internal procedures.
- Use Whitespace to obtain market agreement of MRCs and endorsements.
- Co-ordinate and manage client and placement records, maintaining clear, accurate and comprehensive files reflecting the transactions undertaken on behalf of clients.
- Facilitate processing of tax calculations and debit notes.
- Ensure agreed payment terms and payment warranties are met through credit control.
- Daily monitoring with IBA team of bad debt, cash and funding.
- Be an effective team member and collaborate well with peers in the London office.
- Use the data and analytics produced within the Marine team to monitor Key Performance Indicators.
- Escalate any potential E&Os to line management and the Legal & Compliance team at the earliest opportunity.
- Contribute to retention of clients through planned and coordinated account renewal, Inviting and monitoring renewal instructions.
- Support the identification and development of opportunities for account growth.
- Logging of all quotes and enquiries
- Bordereaux monitoring for current binders and line slips.
- Assisting with sanctions screening and “know your client” due diligence procedures.
- Generally providing support to the producers/brokers within the Division
- Carrying out such projects and other duties and tasks as may from time to time be required
