The Opportunity
As a Senior Accountant within the Infrastructure Finance team at Dexus you will be responsible for managing all finance related responsibilities for a number of Social Infrastructure PPP investments, working in partnership with the Infrastructure Finance team and Asset Management team, while also liaising with the relevant State Departments, lenders and company / trustee Boards.
The Dexus Infrastructure team manages over $10bn of infrastructure assets, including one of Australia’s largest portfolios of social infrastructure PPP assets. Our social infrastructure team invests in assets which deliver long-term, positive community impacts across a range of sectors, including: Health, Education, Entertainment and Energy.

You will make an impact by:

  • Preparation of the trusts’ / companies’ statutory financial statements
  • Revenue and expense calculations
  • Managing the liquidity and cash
  • Managing month end closing activities
  • Preparation of the trust’s / company’s taxable income distribution calculations, BAS/IAS lodgements and interim tax forecast.
  • Drafting the finance papers for the board.

About You
We are on the lookout for a technically strong CA/CPA qualified Accountant with minimum 3 years’ experience in a corporate accounting or asset accounting role with a strong understanding of financial reporting and tax. Prior knowledge of funds management, private equity, infrastructure investment and/or concession assets would be highly beneficial. The ideal candidate will showcase the ability to project manage numerous reporting deadlines across multiple stakeholder groups and will be a sophisticated communicator with strong time management skills. Your attention to detail, commitment to quality and process improvement mindset will see you unlock your potential in this role and within Dexus. Finally, you will be a forward and innovative thinker with a proactive, collaborative attitude whilst also being able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
