Senior Accountant (exclusively full-time 38h)

• Ensuring payroll accounting in cooperation with the Human Resources Department and the Belgian Social Secretariat
• Accounts receivable and accounts payable with efficient documentation of all business transactions
• Ensuring smooth handling of financial processes and its ongoing optimization and process description
• Payments and dunning (banking transactions etc.)
• Monthly reporting and ad-hoc reports / forecasts
• Preparation of the annual budget with the cost center managers and ongoing monitoring of the budgets
• Preparation of the annual financial statements and coordination with the auditors
• Coordination with external financial service providerOrganisational integration of the position
• The post holder reports to the Head of Administration.
• One clerk reports to the job holder.
• Sound specialized training with a focus on finance and accounting
• Professional experience in budget planning and financial accounting
• Mastery of common office applications and accounting software
• Very good knowledge of either English or German; German, French and / or Dutch desirable
• Analytical skills, accuracy and reliability, adherence to deadlines
• Ability to work in a team, stress resistance
