Description:

OUR CLIENT IS ONE OF THE LEADING PLAYERS AS LEGAL SERVICES PROVIDER. DUE TO BUSINESS NEEDS, THEY ARE NOW RECRUITING A SENIOR ACCOUNTANT TO BE PART OF THEIR ACCOUNTING TEAM FOR EXPANSION. THEY ARE LOCATED IN THE TOWN – EASILY ACCESSIBLE.

The Duties of Senior Accountant:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including month-end closing procedures, audits, and annual reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, such as corporation law, and adhere to Solicitors’ Accounts Rules for client money management.
  • Stay updated on changes in Singaporean tax laws and corporate reporting requirements.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and forecast cash flow to maintain financial stability.
  • Manage payroll operations and assist in budgeting and cost analysis.
  • Implement internal policies to enhance financial efficiency and transparency.
  • Prepare and file corporation tax, employer tax, and GST returns, collaborating with Asia Tax Manager and external advisors when necessary.
  • Handle staff mobility tax matters as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Min Degree in Accounting, Finance or other business-related field
  • At least 5 years of full spectrum accounting and tax compliance experience, preferably from related industry
  • Comfortable in working with internal & external stakeholders
