QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or similar.
  • CA/CPA Qualified.
  • Prior Experience in a similar role
  • Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • An organised and methodical approach with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise.
  • The ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Exposure toQSR,Retail, and/orFranchisebusinessenvironmentswould be reviewed favorably
  • NetSuite Experience
  • Experience working offshore is also preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Finance Team and ensure best practice and accuracy across all areas including:
  • Payroll
  • Accounts Payable
  • Account Receivable
  • Lead the outsourced finance team in the provision of excellent standards of service to the organisation
  • Manage the period-end process and ensure deadlines are achieved to deliver reporting (P&Ls and dashboards) to the Business in a timely manner
  • Oversee calculations and journals of P&L impacts derived from balance sheet accounts reconciliationand other analysis
  • Manage our offshore team to ensure invoices are processed accurately and on time in line with the company process
  • Month end accruals are processed to ensure complete accounts
  • Ensure payments are made on time while driving the cash flow objectives of the business
  • Direct debits are processed on time
  • All outstanding invoices are collected in a timely manner
  • Manage royalties, marketing fund, and development income
  • Support the offshore team to ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time in line with company rhythm
  • Be available to assist with any internal queries regarding Payroll
  • Demonstrate a strong interest and motivation to progress into the role of Finance Manager.
