Our Client
This small, well established engineering services business requires a Senior Accountant, to join their Head office in Brisbane, reporting straight into the GM Finance.
The Role
Reporting to the GM - Finance, the responsibilities of the role will include:
Consolidation of all end of month processing and drive month end close
Good systems / ERP knowledge
Preparation and review of financial statements / liaison with the auditors
Processing of daily bank accounts, recs and transactions
Preparations of monthly journals and general ledger
Mentoring / supervision of 2 staff.
About You
The successful applicant will be/have:CA/CPA qualification / or studying with strong technical accounting abilities
Hands on and deadline driven
Ability to pick up processes quickly
Strong verbal and written communication skills
