Job Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial records, preparing financial reports, analyzing trends, and providing strategic recommendations to improve financial performance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with progressive responsibility.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, such as monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary support.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risks.
  • Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, providing training and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the finance department.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in accounting regulations.
