SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - Private Equity Backed, Growing Company in Alpharetta

As a Senior Accountant, you will be tasked with financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. High-level analytical skills are a must. This position is full time with excellent compensation and benefits, as well as the chance to grow. This Senior Accountant role is based in Alpharetta, Georgia with a company in the Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance field.

Responsibilities:

Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Participate in various department-wide initiatives
Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests when required
Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner
Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes
Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or other related field of study required
MBA or Masters in Accounting and/or CPA certification are preferred
3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with public accounting experience
Solid understanding of Legal Entities and/or previous experience with multi-state/multi-site accounting is preferred
Previous experience with NetSuite is preferred
Must have excellent time management skills
Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines
Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
The ideal candidate will be highly-skilled with exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills
