We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant on a temporary 9 month contract. With IBM’s transaction for parts of the SAG portfolio, this position was created out of necessity and will help us to fill an important role as we navigate the buyout.
Reporting directly into FC&A Director MET you’ll play a key role in helping us to stay compliant and accurate. Working alongside key internal and external stakeholders you’ll be part of a unique process as to corporates combine. Here you’ll gain Exposure to the Software Industry with multiple opportunities to learn including, AR, AP, Reporting and more.

Essential Functions

• Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• Coordinating accounting functions and programs.

Preparing financial analyses and reports.

• Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.
• Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
• Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
• Assisting with annual audit preparations.
• Ensure day-to-day expense operations
• Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
• Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
• Research and analyze expense variances for company management
• VAT / Witholding / Income tax experience is mandatory

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years’ of professional accounting experience

Nice to Haves

• Hands on SAP FI/CO is required
• Good command on Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
