Job Description

MISSION

We are looking for a Senior Accounting Analyst to join our Accounting team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Statutory and Financial Reporting, the Senior Accounting Analyst is responsible for optimizing the company’s accounting processes by identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions to increase operational efficiency. They will work closely with the finance teams to implement improvements, promoting more efficient and accurate accounting management.
We offer a flexible hybrid work mode allowing you to work from home and from one of our offices in Laval or Montreal.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Finance or accounting degree with Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
  • Minimum of five years’ relevant audit experience
  • Experience in an accounting firm or industry (an asset)
  • Participation in the implementation of accounting systems (an asset)
  • Good command of the complete accounting cycle
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting processes

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the implementation of a new ERP system and document new processes
  • Participate in the configuration and supervision of the ERP system’s accounting modules
  • Provide support in drafting and updating accounting policies
  • Implement a rigorous process for analyzing various financial statement items
  • Participate in special projects
  • Contribute significantly to process improvement
