As a forward-thinking organization that values finance as a strong business partner, we are looking for a Senior accounting to join our Finance team!
As our Senior Accounting Manager, you will report directly to the CFO and you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of our monthly accounts closing as well as the management of billing and treasury with the management responsibility of a junior accountant.
As a digital first company, we offer greater flexibility in working location. Therefore, you can work from one of our offices in London or Munich or remotely within the UK or Europe.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years of experience in Accounting, demonstrating a track record of success and expertise; experience in the SaaS industry is a strong plus
- Sound knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and German VAT; experience in an international environment and working with international GAAP is a strong plus
- Experience with cloud-based accounting tools, such as QuickBooks or Xero. Full proficiency with DATEV is a strong plus
- Strong communication skills in English to facilitate clear and effective interactions. German is a strong plus
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team, solve problems and deliver results in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities:
- owns and leads all accounting and related processes (Billing, Receivables & Payables Management, Cash Management, Payroll,Expense Management, etc.) for our legal entities (Germany, UK, US and France)
- prepares monthly and annual financial statements in close collaboration with our FP&A Team, ensuring a timely and reliable view on our financial performance
- drives improvements and automation in key accounting and finance processesand systems
- serves as the primary contact for tax-related inquiries, providing knowledgeable and timely support
- acts as the key liaison for external advisors and auditors, ensuring efficient and effective collaboration
- manages and coaches a junior accountant
