JOB DESCRIPTION

• Update electronic accounting records via excel or accounting software in use;
• Responsible for the month end closing process and produce monthly and quarterly financial reports for management purposes;
• Assist the Accounts Manager/Assistant Accounts Manager/Senior Accounts Executive in the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards at the end of the financial year;
• Assist Accounts Manager/Assistant Accounts Manager/Senior Accounts Executive in the preparation of consolidated data;
• Preparation of audit schedules for the auditors;
• Liaising with auditors and responding to any queries;
• Paying vender invoices and expenses claims;
• Issuing payment vouchers, preparing cheques and remitting funds by telegraphic transfer;
• Other related accounting assignments

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• At least 4 years of relevant working experiences in professional firms
• Ability to speak in Japanese would be an advantage to liaise with external Japanese counterparts
• Able to multi-task in a fast moving environment
• Customer-service oriented mindset
