Position Overview:
As an Account Executive / Senior Account Executive specializing in handling full sets of accounts, you will be instrumental in ensuring the financial health and integrity of our clients’ businesses. Your role will involve managing all aspects of accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. With a hybrid working arrangement offering 3 days of work-from-home flexibility, this position presents a unique opportunity to blend autonomy with collaboration while achieving work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage full sets of accounts for assigned clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, invoices, and payments in accordance with established procedures and regulations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and budgets for review by management and clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data, analyze performance metrics, and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Conduct periodic audits and assessments to ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities, and vendors, to address inquiries and resolve issues as needed.
  • Identify process improvements and implement best practices to streamline accounting workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to maintain expertise in accounting practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA qualification preferred.
  • Proven experience in accounting roles, with a focus on handling full sets of accounts; experience in a BPO environment is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and interact with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adherence to deadlines and a strong sense of accountability for deliverables.
