Role Overview: They are currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accountant to join their growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping their financial strategies and ensuring the long-term success of the company. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial analysis and insights that inform strategic decision-making processes, optimize financial performance, and drive sustainable growth.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a management accounting role.
- CPA qualification is essential.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook, MYOB, and ERP systems.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Cash Flow Management: You will be responsible for preparing weekly cash flow projections to ensure optimal liquidity and funding availability at all times.
Financial Reporting: You will complete month-end activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and dashboard reporting, to provide accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders.
Accounting Functions: Maintaining company accounts with meticulous attention to detail and adherence to accounting standards will be a key aspect of your role.
Debtor Management: You will monitor debtor terms to ensure compliance with budgeted guidelines and assist with invoicing and debt collection efforts.
Tax Compliance: Support in the preparation of various tax returns, including BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax, and SCG, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Payroll Processing: Processing payroll accurately and efficiently, including reviewing timesheets and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Asset Management: Maintaining the fixed asset register, calculating depreciation, and managing work-in-progress accounts to accurately reflect the company’s financial position.
Systems Improvement: Contributing to the continual improvement of financial systems, including the Integrated Management System, to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Cost Management: Assisting in job costing activities and contributing to annual stock takes to ensure accurate cost management and inventory control.
Supportive Role: Collaborating with the Management Team, providing financial insights and support to facilitate informed decision-making.
Safety Compliance: Adhering to all occupational health and safety requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
