The UM media team are responsible for the planning and buying of media campaigns for our clients. The team has extensive experience across the full range of online and offline channels.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Ad Tech Manager to support the media team for a variety of clients in industries including retail, automotive, healthcare, charity, and finance.

OTHER DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE (NOT REQUIRED)

  • Creating advanced segments within analytics platforms
  • Running full-scale conversion rate optimisation campaigns
  • Building reports in Data Studio, Datorama, Tableau, Google Looker
  • Run correlation analysis between online & offline media
  • Finding creative ways to integrate media activity and optimisation
  • DCO experience
  • Understanding of cookie less advertising, ID solutions and cookie consent concepts.
  • Experience with cloud data bases and CDPs

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a proactive individual who possesses a combination of strong analytical, problem solving and organisational skills, married to a good level of technical knowledge of media technology platforms. The individual should be a strong communicator and team player who demonstrates passion and curiosity in their approach.

The Senior Ad Tech Manager role requires the ability to support the team with ad tech enabled solutions and services, responsible for managing digital campaigns across McCann clients. You will be a primary point of contact for your clients and internal stakeholders alike to better understand their needs, and to offer consultancy and hands-on campaign management of Digital Operations services. You will directly line manage an executive to follow best practice across all ad tech solutions and services.

  • Primary lead for ad tech operations for internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Experience managing an ad ops team ideally within a media agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of Google Platform technologies, including CM360 and GA4.
  • Generating Floodlight Activities in Google Stack.
  • User journey tracking, ad verification, measurement principles and management.
  • Excellent Excel skillset.
  • Media Tagging via Tag Management software, such as Google Tag Manager.
  • Understanding how regulations like GDPR are impacting marketing channels.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong relationship builder with team, other departments, clients and external partners.
  • Established experience in ad tech, with a focus on cross device and omnichannel consumer experience.
  • Ability to understand and transform business requirements into actionable tech/product requirements for feature developments
  • Line managing an ad operations executive to follow best practice work across all clients
  • Ability to develop meticulous documentation and conduct comprehensive training sessions on diverse platforms for team-wide comprehension.
  • Drive product development initiatives, focusing on automation and tools to elevate process efficiency and performance.
  • Liaise with different parties to ensure that campaign settings are optimal to achieve the client’s expectations.
  • Work proactively to ensure the best performance of our campaigns.
