About This Opportunity
We are seeking a SR Strategic Energy Management (SEM) Administrative Specialist
The Strategic Energy Management Specialist is responsible for providing a broad range of support for our Strategic Energy Management (SEM) team. The SEM team facilitates trainings, using tools and data that enable our participants to manage their energy use. The SEM Specialist is an integral part of the SEM delivery team, participating on various levels to move cohorts of participants from initial planning for their programs to post-completion evaluation and measurement of energy savings.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Assist with the development and improvement of program tools, materials, and presentations, striving to identify best practices.
  • Manage schedules and resources
  • Employ continuous improvement processes to all aspects of SEM work
  • Contribute to business development activities such as proposals.
  • Assist in the delivery of cohorts, with involvement in all phases from the initial planning to the post-completion retrospective assessment
  • Critique and edit training and reporting materials for consistency, accuracy, and visual appeal
  • Create and improve systems (on SharePoint or elsewhere) to manage training materials, schedules, tools, resources, and processes
  • Contribute to Energy Sensei activities
  • Occasionally facilitate portions of SEM workshops, either in person or virtually

This is a full-time, exempt position located remotely in Southern California, or in Fresno area. Minimal travel is anticipated for this role.
Qualifications

APPLICANTS FOR THIS ROLE ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Energy Management, Project Management, or related program, or, equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Four or more years’ experience in a progressively developing role supporting internal and external customers.
  • Project management experience or experience in a project-based environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical writing skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to take abstract concepts and ideas from discussions and develop processes or reports with minimal supervision.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office

Compensation & Benefits
Our total rewards include competitive pay and excellent benefits. These include health (90% paid for team member, 70% paid for dependents on HDHP plans and 85% paid for team member, 65% paid for dependents on PPO plans), vision, FSA or HSA options with an employer contribution, life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, paid parental leave, 401k retirement plan with a guaranteed 3% contribution, Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), annual cash performance bonus, paid vacation, sick time, and an inclusive, flexible paid holiday policy. New for 2024 – we are excited to add an additional wellbeing contribution of $500 for HSA, FSA, or LSA (Lifestyle Spending Account).
The salary range for this position in California is $65,400 - $96,900/year. However, final salary offered may vary depending on non-discriminatory factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experiences, and geographical location within California.
