Responsibilities:
Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Senior Administrator in a fixed-term part-time role for 24 months. The role will be primarily responsible to the holder of the Chair in Complexity Science but will also occasionally work with the Pou Hautū - School Manager of the Te Kura Tiaki, Whakawhiti Kōrero - School of Information Management. The role performs a key administration and co-ordination function to assist the Chair to effectively deliver strategic goals and objectives, focused on establishing a research entity at the university that is nationally and internationally recognised for its pioneering work in complexity science.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsive, proactive, high-quality administration and project support for the Chair.
- Horizon scanning for funding opportunities and assistance in preparing funding applications.
- Stakeholder management to foster relationships to the public and private sector.
- Grants and finance administration, including associated contracts and scholarships.
- Events coordination and assistance.
